Above are some posters from last years events and top left is the Elizabethn Smith event on Sunday 13th Jan 2013

Happy New Year and welcome to Wight Wedding Days

Are you back in wedding planning mode after a hectic christmas and new years parties and gatherings, or did your partner propose to you over the christmas holiday? All of you will be in wedding planning and budgeting mode and will be looking to find and get in touch with as many suppliers on the Isle of Wight for quotes and details of what you can get.

You have come to the right place as our directory features profiles of some of the suppliers you would like to be in touch with, while our blog has post with advice and ides as well as features on suppliers to give you more information on who they are and what they offer.

In addition to the hours of searching the internet you might find yourself doing, it is a gerat idea to go and meet the people behind the websites and facebook profiles face to face. See who they are and what is actualy on offer. Come out and see their faces, shake hands and chat a while. Take advantage of the chance to talk over your wedding whilst seeing and feeling many products you are considering or have bought.

As a couple, it is a good chance to have dedicated time to talk over all things wedding while possibly making some final decisions based on meeting and seeing products at the event. If you are planning your wedding as a couple with decisions made on both sides, or dragging your groom out of the house to attend at least one event, make the most of it. Neither of you want wedding planning to completely take over your lives but it is inevitable that surrounded by everything wedding you are bound to be in the right frame of mind to make some decisions and tick some tasks off your to do list. Or the groom may spend the whole time pining for the sofa and Sunday TV.

Whatever your situation, you have a good choice on the Island this year and here is a list of the ones we know about. We will update the blog with more as we become aware of them.

Any feedback on these events, just let us know. Always good to know what you think about them and if you find them a good wedding planning tool.
