Autumn Bridal Fayre

Rookley Country Park

Sunday 28th October 2012

12pm – 4pm

Now the peak wedding season is coming to an end and suppliers are now gearing up for meeting some of the lovely engaged couples getting married next year and 2014, at one of the great wedding events being held in our Isle of Wight venues. They offer a great chance to meet the faces behind the products or services you may have been in electronic contact with (there’s only so much personal you can do with punctuation and smiley’s), and also a chance to see, touch and smell the lovely things you have been searching the internet for.

Rookley Country Park’s annual bridal fayre will be held this autumn on Sunday 28th October 2012 with doors open at 12pm and closing at 4pm. There will be in excess of 30 quality Island wedding industry businesses exhibiting, including a make up demonstration from the talented Ruth at Harmony Beauty, a catwalk show by the Bridal Room Shanklin and a performance by the energetic Spotlight Boutique (ahem, a listed supplier on Wight Wedding Days, go check them out a bit more), just to name a few.

Rookley Country Park will be offering canapé tasters of the foods they can create for your dream day, as well as a glass of something bubbly to enjoy whilst browsing all the exhibitors. We think it is great to see and taste the food you might be having on your wedding day because seeing what is written on a menu and how a chef interprets that is important.

Most excitingly they will be again giving away free goody bags to the first 50 brides that arrive at the fayre! Yay, we love goodies that are free.

In addition to all of that excitement a raffle for the ‘Pink on Wight’ Charity will be held which is the Isle of Wight breast Cancer Campaign charity. Rookley are proud to be supporting such a great cause and hope to raise money with the raffle of some great prizes for you.

If you need any other information the lovely Clare will be happy to help - clare@islandviewholidays.co.uk

We’ve said it before, but we will repeat ourselves. Wedding events are well worth attending and if we are talking to the bride right now, drag your other half along because they are groom friendly.

Then…let us know what you thought.
